Tout commence avec un poisson dans les bras d'un jeune homme. C'est incongru et ça marche, on a vraiment envie de savoir pourquoi il tient ce poisson dans ses bras.
Dans la ville de Baltèse, la magie régnait en maître, tout le monde était magique, voyez-vous, mais la ville subit un terrible maléfice, la guerre, et devint comme la nôtre, non-magique et déprimée.
Peter est un orphelin qui vit réfugié chez son bienfaiteur, un vieux soldat, qui l'a sauvé. Ce n'est pas une vie facile, Peter fait le soldat aussi et a une petite piècette de temps en temps qu'il va utiliser pour chercher sa sœur disparue qui est encore vivante selon lui.
Mais trêve de dévoilement de l'intrigue qu'est-ce que j'ai pensé de ce film ?
Très rigolo et tragique à la fois, ce film mêle la magie et le conte pour nous enchanter. Je le recommande vivement.
